Ellen’s Inner World
catching up / dressing up / giving Ellen her flowers
Women in my life have always been the most powerful forces moving me towards my purpose.
Women in my family
Women who spoke to me through books
Those who visited me in my dreams
Teachers and scholars who nurtured my curiosity
Childhood friends and their older sisters
Peers and professional mentors

I’m grateful to all these women, and when I met Ellen, she became another important influence that nudged Chlos to emerge. I came to know Ellen as a sugarist, but what this profession doesn’t name is the healing practice intertwined with her service. I felt charged, excited, hopeful and oddly emotional in her home for my first ever sugaring appointment (she’s since gone on a whole journey of growth beyond her home location). She creates one of the safest and most vulnerable spaces I’ve had the joy of experiencing. I think there is a magic about Ellen. She was a stranger who, in a few minutes, I fully trusted physically and spiritually. Over 6 years (WOW, I never really took that in), we’ve witnessed each other’s journeys. She’s not only been cheering me on to pursue my big ideas, but showing me how she’s manifesting hers.
Years ago, I already knew I wanted to honour Ellen in some way when Chlos would be realized. It means so much to me that she visited the Chlos showroom in August 2025 and dove into her inner world with me. We were joined by Shekinah, another brilliant woman I deeply admire, who documented our day through these fabulous photos and video. Some questions for Ellen you’ll find in our video:

Ellen is a woman who does it and does it well. Every detail of how she operates is so intentional. She’s also been so vocal online about enforcing her boundaries and moving through the less glamorous aspects of owning a business. Doing the work of facilitating shedding calls for generous love, deep confidence, and self-protection. I think these are some of Ellen’s greatest strengths, which make her so successful. I’m so excited to continue watching Ellen make the most of her beautiful life.
Thank you Shekinah for bringing this to life, shooting, editing, and supporting me
And thank you for reading and listening
with love, Chloe
